Jet Set take a ticket to Ryde

It's that time of year again when the Manchester Jet Set (established 1966-1969) meet up in a seaside resort. This time we have chose a Ticket to Ryde – on the Isle of Wight. We chose a slow train from Waterloo that took over two hours to complete the roughly 80 miles from London to Portsmouth.

After a pint or so in the King Lud we moved a little uphill to the Bendula Bar & Restaurant, where we had a good Afro-Caribbean meal, although some of us would have liked the main courses to have been hotter.
